The author of the technical solution was a brilliant British designer of Hungarian origin Nicholas Straussler (-), who in 1936 had a prototype V-4 and its subsequent modifications made in the Hungarian company Weiss Manfréd Rt. Its predecessor was two V-2 and V-3 machines from 1933-1935. The V-4 was not the first to design a Straussler chassis. The origin of the experimental vehicle V-4 is shrouded in mystery, but one thing is certain that the design came from the British factory Straussler Mechanization Ltd.
